| Aishwarya in Roberto Cavalli creation While Soonam chose Elie Saab gown |
As The 67th festival de Cannes 2014 approaches an end lets take a walk down the red carpet to see how some of the desi beauties stormed the fashion scene.
LOOK 1-Aishwarya Rai looked GORGEOUS in the Roberto Cavalli Gown.I mean just look at her! *GASP* alot of people had been fat shamming her and her last year's faux pas at the cannes red carpet.I mean, she looks just as she did 10 years ago.STOP BEING MEAN TO HER!
The golden strapless fishtail gown was paired with a gold ring. Soft curls and bold red lips finished out her look.

| The red bold lips completed the look |
Thought this dress is no new to red carpet,Kristein Chenowet had been spotted wearing the same dress at this year's Oscars. But does it really matter Aishwarya won it hands down.
Her much younger counterpart-Sonam Kapoor chose a classy black Elie Saab Couture gown.A very safe 'red carpety' look,Soonam too looked her usual good and some what like a princess in that big pouf pouf gown.Yeah I just made that name up.But I wish she was more experimental with her dress. But no complains, Soonam will always be on top of the list when it comes to fashionistas.
Soonam teamed up the gown with Chopard jewelry and Pink Lipstick.
LOOK 2-Aishwarya again chose Roberto Cavalli,sleek-vintage kind of hairdo and nude lipstic. She really underplayed this look and I dont know why but this gown reminded me of what she wore the previous day.Would have been better if she picked another color or some different cuts but anyways she still looked very sophisticated and chic.So thumbs up.
While Aishwarya was playing it safe Ms Kapoor totally rocked it in this Gown-sari theme by Anamika Khanna Couture.Loved this whole amalgamtion of the two concepts and Sonam Looks no less then a diva in this.
The Chokar Necklace is by Soonam's Mom's Jewelry Line (Sunita Kappor),A Ferragamo clutch and Jimmy Choo sandals were a delight. No one does fashion better then her.
LOOK 3-For her 3rd and final look at Cannes Mrs. Bachchan picked an Armani Prive gown, soft curls, bold lips,Chopard jewels and an unusual shimmery eye make up.LOVED this classic look.
While Sonam wore an Elie Saab gown in powder blue. The gown was structured and looked fab,Her pulled back hairstyle looked good but maybe a pouf up half updo would have added some more structure or a side swept hairstyle.IDK.Just saying. Her necklace was by Chopard, and the cluch by Ferragamo.
I can proudly say that these ladies really put together an amazing treat for our eyes and all the fashionistas can go to sleep peacefully dreaming about cavallis and Chopards. So what if we are not walking the red carpet, nothing can fade our sparkle.MWAH!
Thats all for this year's cannes report do tell me what was your favourite look and for all other red-carpet report stay tuned to SPARKLING DIVA DIARIES.xoxo
